The park hubs a tree climbing lions, which is a rare behavior phenomenon. Apart from the big 5, Mikumi is also rich in other attractions, such as, bird watching, numerous species of wildlife animals, like: zebra, wildebeests, impalas, buffalos, giraffes, elands, greater kudus, and large numbers of antelopes.
Experience the pool of hippos in the park, that add ranges of attractions found here. Mikumi national park is the 4th largest national park in Tanzania, and the nearest park from Dar es Salaam city. Mikumi offers a guarantee of wildlife sightseeing apart from game drive; other activities include; walking safari, and cultural tours.

Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1.
Pick up from the hotel, airport or boat ferry in Dar es Salaam early in the morning, 6:00 AM, heads to Mikumi. Quick lunch in Morogoro, then proceed with the safari.
Check-in at the hotel/camp in the park, and immediately start game drive. After game drive, return to the hotel for dinner.
DAY 2.
Experience both morning and afternoon game drives, in the park. Walking tours is also inclusive but, optional. Meals for day two includes, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
DAY 3
Morning game drive and lunch at the hotel/camp. Drive back to Dar es Salaam with transfer vehicle. The journey ends after drop off at your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
